Troop 85 recognizes that with today’s busy families, the days of check-books and cash on-hand are rare. To provide as much convenience as possible, Troop 85 accepts several payment methods for donations (thank you for your support!!), yearly dues, Class-B gear, special events and “pay as you go” monthly outings.
Because there are two distinct Troops, one for boys and one for girls, each with their own finances, please be sure to select the appropriate payment instructions below for your scout’s Troop to receive credit for your payment.
Venmo
Preferred
Troop 85 is now accepting on-line payments via Venmo. Venmo allows you to conveniently make payments using your cell phone or computer from your Bank account, Debit Card, or Credit Card. Payments using a bank account have no extra fees.
To make payments you will need to start by creating a Venmo account at https://venmo.com/ or by installing the Venmo app on your smart phone/tablet and following the prompts.
Here is how you can use Venmo to make payments:
Download the iOS or Android app.
Tap the pen and paper icon.
You can type in the name “@Scoutroop85”.
Enter payment amount and for the description, enter the scout’s name and event (ex: “Scotty Scout – Registration”).
If you are paying for multiple campers or events, you may pay for everything with one transaction. When paying for multiple campers or events, please add to the payment’s description what and for whom you are paying.
Paypal
