Green Bar (PLC)

The Green Bar (A.K.A. Patrol Leaders’ Council or PLC) is responsible for planning and conducting the troop’s scouting program, including weekly meetings and monthly outings. The Scoutmaster (and assistant Scoutmasters) provides direction, coaching, and training to enable the Green Bar with the resources needed to lead the troop.

The following scouts are required to attend the PLC meeting:

Senior Patrol Leader (SPL)
Asst. Senior Patrol Leader(s) (ASPL)
Patrol Leaders
Asst. Patrol Leaders
Troop Guide(s)
Troop Scribe

The following scouts should plan to attend the PLC Meeting:

Any scout in the troop

The shoulder patch insignia of Green Bar leadership positions will have one to three green horizontal bars.
