Job Description:

The Troop Quartermaster keeps track of troop equipment and sees that it is in good working order. He is in charge of the trailer and garage and makes sure everything is put away properly at the end of every meeting and campout.

Requirements:

• National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT). This is not really a "requirement" but it is very highly recommended

• Ability to be at 95% of all troop activities

Responsibilities:

• Keep records on patrol and troop equipment.

• Keep equipment in good repair.

• Issue equipment and see that it is returned in good order. (Troop Tents and Pop ups)

• Suggest new or replacement items.

• Regularly attends troop meetings, troop campouts, and troop events during his service period.

• Set a good example.

• Enthusiastically wear the Scout Uniform correctly.

• Live by the Scout Oath and Law.

• Show Scout spirit.
